FLOATING MEDITATION, 2025
CHRISTINA DIEBEL

A body floats, weightless, as if freed from gravity.
Silver fabric shimmers like liquid light against the depth of darkness.

In this suspension, a tension unfolds between lightness and stillness, between grace and control, between presence and transcendence.

The eyes remain open: not searching, but clear, seeing. The space she inhabits is deliberate, not escape but intention.

Between falling and being held, between release and full presence, the gaze extends into the dark and recognizes what can only be seen in this moment:
The self.

"Floating Meditation" by Christina Diebel captures a body suspended in stillness. Weightless, radiant, between release, presence, and self-recognition.

“Floating Meditation” depicts a figure in a state between control and release.

Suspended in darkness, the body appears weightless. A silver dress reflects light like liquid light, echoing inner calm.

With open eyes, not searching but seeing, she occupies space with intention. Not retreat, but form.

The work captures a moment of quiet concentration between falling and being held, between letting go and full presence. Here, the self is not pursued but recognized, visible only within this suspended moment.
